![]() OK, no problem, I thought - I'll just update it back to 6.12 where it was before all this started. It'll open all the shots I have from my earlier cameras, but not the D500 (or any other recent camera that requires a later version of Camera Raw than the 9.0 that's included in LR 6.0). So I ran the LR6 installer, but despite being called "Lightroom_6_LS11.exe", it only installed 6.0, which does not recognize the newer NEF files from my Nikon D500. No problem, I thought - I'll just uninstall Classic CC and reinstall good old Lightroom 6. I have NO interest in moving to the pay-as-you-go licensing model, I just want to continue to use the software that I bought and paid for. Stupidly, I accepted it and failed to preserve the old version. In the process, it said that the name was changing to Lightroom Classic CC. ![]() This morning the Adobe updater offered me an "update" to my standalone Lightroom 6.12.
